State Representative Ed Gruchalla announces he will seek re-election

(FARGO, ND) – State Representative Ed Gruchalla (Democrat – Fargo) announced today that he will be seeking re-election to the State House from District 45. Representative Gruchalla has represented the north Fargo district since 2007. He released the following statement:

“I have been honored to have been given the opportunity to work on behalf of my constituents in District 45 and I want to continue working for them during the next four years.

“District 45 has been my home for 24 years. It’s a great place to live and I want to continue my work to make it even better.

“During my time in the North Dakota House, I’ve worked with members of both parties to find common sense solutions that advance economic opportunities in our state. During the next four years, I want to continue that work along with setting up an Ethics Commission for elected officials. North Dakota still does not have one. It’s important that elected officials be held to high standards. There must be an additional check to make sure that the public’s trust is upheld.”
